Delete your Paytron account.
This closes your account and starts the removal of your personal data. Read what happens first, because it can't be undone once it's completed.
Before you request
- Withdraw your naira to a bank account and send any crypto to a wallet you control. You can't access them after the account is closed.
- Wait for pending transfers, swaps and withdrawals to finish.
- Prefer to do it in the app? Open Profile and choose Delete Account.
What happens next
Confirm it’s you
We email the address on your account with a confirmation link. Nothing happens until you open it.
Your account is closed
You’re signed out on every device and can no longer log in. Your wallets and balances become unavailable.
Your data is removed
We delete or anonymise your personal data, except the records described below.
What we may keep
We keep transaction and verification records for as long as the law requires us to, for example for financial regulation, fraud prevention and tax. These records are held securely and not used for anything else. Our privacy policy has the details.
